Public Policy
The Programs in Public Policy are primarily intended for those who serve, or seek to serve, in government. They are designed to develop an understanding of the political, social, economic and organisational processes that shape, change and limit public policy programs. Major areas of interest include policy analysis, organisational behaviour, and issues management.

Requirements

Master of Public Policy
To be awarded the Masters of Public Policy, students complete a total of eight units of study (48 credit points), comprising:
- one core compulsory unit (6 credit points)
- one core elective unit of study (6 credit points)
- six elective units (36 credit points), including a minimum of four units (24 credit points) chosen from the Table of Postgraduate Coursework Units of Study
Graduate Diploma in Public Policy
To be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Public Policy, students complete a total of six units of study (36 credit points), comprising:
- one core compulsory unit (6 credit points)
- one core elective unit of study (6 credit points)
- four elective units (24 credit points) chosen from the Table of Postgraduate Coursework Units of Study
Graduate Certificate in Public Policy
To be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy, students complete a total of four units of study (24 credit points), comprising:
- one core compulsory unit (6 credit points)
- one core elective unit of study (6 credit points)
- two elective units (12 credit points) chosen from the Table of Postgraduate Coursework Units of Study
