Honours in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is a one-year program embedded within the Bachelor of Advanced Studies. Honours comprises a total of 48-credit points, distributed across (1) a 36-credit point research project that gives you the opportunity to take part in cutting edge research programs aligned with your degree major(s) under the supervision of an academic member of staff, write a thesis based on this research, present seminars describing their work, undertake research skills training, and attend weekly school seminars and (2) two 6-credit point coursework units that collectively will develop fundamental research and communication skills in science.

To be eligible for the Honours program in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, students should usually have completed two majors, including at least one major that is cognate to their Honours area; and have met the requirements outlined in the resolutions.
