Subject areas
Table A - University of Sydney Business School
The Table A areas of study are those offered by the University of Sydney Business School for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce and combined Bachelor of Commerce degrees. Students can complete majors, minors (in most cases) or electives from these subject areas for their degree contingent to the rules and resolutions of their degree. The degree core units for the Bachelor of Commerce and electives only available for Commerce students are also listed in Table A.
Note. Students cannot complete both a major and a minor from the same subject area for their degree.

* The Professional Accounting Program is not available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws. Students enrolled in this combined degree who wish to seek professional accreditation in accounting should refer to the Professional Accreditations under the Commerce and Laws section of this handbook.
Honours subject areas (Table A - Business School)
The Business School offers honours study in the following Table A subject areas for students enrolled in the Bchelor:
- Accounting
- Business Analytics
- Business Information Systems
- Business Law
- Finance
- International Business
- Marketing
- Work and Organisational Studies *
* This honours area is available to students who have completed a major in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management OR Management.
Table S - Shared Pool
Students are able to complete a major, minor or electives from another faculty of the University of Sydney. For example, a language from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, or Psychological Science from the Faculty of Science can be completed as a second major or minor in the Bachelor of Commerce and the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies.
The available majors, minor and units of study are listed in Table S in the Interdisciplinary Studies Handbook. For available shared pool subject areas where honours study is available, please refer to the Bachelor of Advanced Studies Honours information in the Interdisciplinary Studies Handbook.
Table O - Open Learning Environment (OLE)
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce, and the associated combined degrees are required to complete at least 12 credit points in units of study from the Open Learning Environment (OLE)* to meet the requirements for their degree/s.
* Note students enrolled in the Dalyell Stream in these degree are required to complete at least 6 credit points in OLE units of study.

Table D - Dalyell Stream
Students enrolled in the Dalyell Stream must complete a minimum of 12 credit points of Dalyell Stream units of study (Table D).

Law - Combined Law degree
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws must complete nine core Law units of study (48 credit points) during the first three years of the combined degree. These units must be completed in a defined sequence. Please refer to Law (Combined) for further details.
