Education (Health and Physical Education)

Candidates must complete 192 credit points of units of study comprising:
(i) 108 credit points of core units of study;
(ii) a 48 credit point major in Education Studies;
(iii) either a minor (36 credit points) in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a teaching area (24 credit points) from Table A;
(iv) an optional maximum of 12 credit points from Table O;
(v) where appropriate, elective units of study from Table A.
Students complete 36 credit points in core units and 12 credit points from the Education Studies major in each year.

Core units

Students complete 108 credit points of core units in the following sequence:
(i) 24 credit points of 1000-level core units;
(ii) 24 credit points of 2000-level core units;
(iii) 30 credit points of 3000-level core units;
(iv) 30 credit points of 4000-level core units.
