Honours
Students who want to enrol in Honours should apply to the Faculty of Engineering and IT (for BCST/BIT) or the Faculty of Science (for Science degrees) at pre-enrolment time. Selection will be finalised in January, once end-of-year results are known. Mid-year entries are also possible.
You need to have completed your pass degree before starting Honours (that is, you cannot do Honours concurrently while filling in missing units from your first three years of study).
Any student who is considering Honours should begin to identify an appropriate research topic and supervisor as early as possible. The Honours year starts two weeks before lectures begin.
