Honours

Students who commenced their studies at the University of Sydney in 2018 or later undertake Honours within the combined Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies. Students who have completed an undergraduate degree in another University may apply for Honours in the standalone degree, Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours), or apply for Honours under the resolutions in place at the time their studies began – see the Handbook that corresponds with your year of entry.

For students undertaking Honours within the Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours), there is a minimum of 12 credit points of coursework and 24-36 credit points of research project. The table below outlines the project and coursework requirements for each area. For details of the units to be completed, refer to Table A using the table below.
