Honours in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is a component embedded in the Bachelor of Advanced Studies. Students are required to undertake a 36-credit point research project under the supervision of an academic member of staff, write a thesis based on this research, present seminars describing their work, undertake research skills training, and attend weekly school seminars.
Students will also complete two 6-credit point coursework units that will aid in the development of fundamental research, ethical and communication skills
To be eligible for the Honours program in Ecology and Evolution, students should have completed any Faculty of Science major that is relevant to the research project undertaken.
