For the award of a major in International Business, students complete: | |||
(1) one junior prerequisite unit of study (six credit points), that must (a) be offered by the University of Sydney Business School, or (b) be part of Bachelor of Economics, or Bachelor of International and Global Studies (for students enrolled in these degrees only). *; and | |||
(2) 24 credit points in compulsory senior units of study: IBUS2101, IBUS2102, IBUS3101 and IBUS3102; and | |||
(3) 12 credit points in elective senior units of study. | |||
* Students who do not meet the requirements in (a) or (b) may complete two alternative junior units approved by the Chair of Discipline (International Business). | |||

For students in the Bachelor of Commerce, all GOVT, USSC and language elective units of study are offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and will count towards the degree credit point limit for units from non-Commerce subject areas. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws cannot complete any GOVT or USSC or language units from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences as only units from the Commerce subject areas and the Law School are available to students in this degree. | |||
For students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies), all ECOS, GOVT, USSC and language elective units of study are offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and if completed will count towards the 84 credit point allowance for non-Business School units. | |||
