Plant Production
Honours
Please check the current students website (Find a unit of study) for up-to-date information on units of study including availability.
Honours in Plant Production is embedded within the Bachelor of Advances studies, normally taken at the end of third year. It involves a 24-credit point research project undertaken in a field of study relevant to plant production. It also includes two 6-credit point selective coursework units that will allow students to develop a greater depth of knowledge in plant production. The selective units are chosen from a small number of relevant units of study.
A further 12-credit points of coursework is required to complete the degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies, if not completed already, these could be used to complete a second major.
Honours is available to students who have a completed major in an area relevant to their project and have met the requirements outlined in the resolutions. Admittance into the program is determined by the Faculty of Science as well as the honours coordinator.
