Pathway: Public Health
The Public Health Pathway allows students to study core sexual health and public health subjects in one program at postgraduate level and contribute to the improvement of sexual health of people living in developed and developing countries. This Pathway addresses the core areas of public health including epidemiology, health promotion, program management, policy development and evaluation with a focus on HIV, STIS and Sexual Health. Graduates of the Public Health Pathway will be equipped with skills in advocacy, health service development and effective public health interventions.
The Public Health Pathway is aimed at:
- Health professionals, policy makers, public health practitioners and educators wishing to gain a more in depth knowledge and practical understanding in HIV, STIs and Sexual Health.
- Recent science, medical science, social science, medicine graduates or other health discipline graduates interested in pursuing a career in the public health aspects of HIV, STIs and Sexual Health.
