Master of Management
Degree structure
To qualify for the award of Master of Management, a student completes ten units of study totalling 60 credit points #, comprising:
- nine core units of study (54 credit points), including a two unit business project (12 credit points)
- a capstone unit of study (six credit points).
# Students who completed less than one year of full time study in a
business/commerce related field must also complete the zero credit point unit of study, MMGT5001 Fundamentals of Management.

Note. Other units of study may be able to be substituted for the core units of study listed above with the permission of the Academic Program Director.
(ii) Capstone unit of study
The capstone unit is completed in a student’s final enrolment session.

(iii) Compulsory unit of study for non-business degree graduates
Students who are not graduates from a business/commerce undergraduate degree must complete the following zero credit point unit.
- MMGT5001 Fundamentals of Management
Progression guide
The Master of Management will involve a minimum of one year full-time intensive study.
Students will follow a recommended sequence as there is progressive learning.

MMGT6013 is designed to be completed over a five week period and will be offered in intensive mode during the summer and winter. Students can complete this unit in an intensive session in winter or at the end of their degree with the capstone unit, MMGT6100 in summer.
