This program combines the Master of International Business and the Master of Logistics Management. Both degrees will be awarded after a minimum of 2.5 years of full-time study.
Degree structure
To be awarded the Master of International Business and the Master of Logistics Management, students complete 18 units of study (108 credit points), comprising:
For the Master of International Business component:
- four core units of study (24 credit points), as set out under 'Core units of study' in the International Business section of this handbook;
- four elective units of study (24 credit points), as set out under the 'Elective units of study' in the International Business section of this handbook;
- an international business project comprising two units of study (12 credit points), as set out under 'International Business project' in the International Business section of this handbook.
For the Master of Logistics Management component:
- four core units of study (24 credit points), as set out under 'Core units of study' in the Logistics Management section of this handbook
- four elective units of study (24 credit points), as set out under 'Elective units of study' in the Logistics Management section of this handbook.
Progression guide
The following table illustrates the degree progression for a student enrolled in the Master of Logistics Management and Master of International Business on a full-time basis commencing in Semester 1 and undertaking four units of study (24 credit points) per semester, plus two units of study (12 credit points) for the business project at the end of the program, completing in 2.5 years.
Students complete the Master of Logistics Management component first and then complete the Master of International Business component so as to facilitate progressive learning and enrich the group learning experience through progression in the same student cohort.
Note: In this example, 'MIB' refers to the 'Master of International Business' and 'MLM' refers to the 'Master of Logistics Management'.
