The description has changed for the following unit: GOVT6229 Campaigning: Data, Politics, Strategy Description: Students will gain an understanding of survey design, big data, data analysis and interpretation, and the use of data in political campaigns. Students will combine the tools of data science with an understanding of public opinion to study citizen behaviour and craft political strategies. Greater insight into how data can be used in politics is provided with guest lectures by speakers from politics, media and strategic consulting. |
