About Industry and Community Projects
What are Industry and Community Project Units?
Industry and Community Project Units (ICPUs) are units of study that will be offered as selectives within majors, where students work in multidisciplinary groups on authentic problems and issues.
Projects are run in partnership with a broad range of industry, community and government organisations and a project supervisor. They champion collaboration across discipline areas and are open to all third-year students who meet the eligibility requirements, including all fourth-year students who have a spare elective.
In 2018, continuing students will have access to trial electives within their degrees.
For students who commence in 2018, these will be available within majors.
The specific projects available may vary from year to year and can be found on the Interdisciplinary Projects website. More information about how to enrol in Industry and Community Project Units of study can be found here.
