Infection and Immunity
Admission requirements
In general, admission to the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Infection and Immunity requires an undergraduate degree from one of the following fields biomedical,medical, agricultural or animal sciences.
The Master of Medicine (Infection and Immunity) requires a medical degree for admission.
The Master of Science in Medicine (Infection and Immunity) requires an undergraduate honours degree for admission, or an undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 12 months research or work experience in the field.

Course structure
The Graduate Certificate in Infection and Immunity requires the successful completion of 24 credit points of core units of study.
The Graduate Diploma in Infection and Immunity requires the successful completion of 36 credit points of units of study including:
- 24 credit points of core units of study, and
- 12 credit points of elective units of study.
The Master of Medicine (Infection and Immunity) and Master of Science in Medicine (Infection and Immunity) require the successful completion of 48 credit points of units of study including:
- 24 credit points of core units of study, and
- 24 credit points of elective units of study.
