Delete current subclause 3 from Clause Admission to Candidature:

(3) An applicant who has completed an appropriate two-year bachelor's degree in an accelerated program (a program comprising three semesters per year) will be considered only after the applicant has completed the two-year degree.

Replace with:

(3) Applicants must have completed, or be in the final year of, a bachelor's degree comprising at least three full-time equivalent years of study, either from an Australian university listed in sub-category (ii) of the Australian Qualifications Framework (universities and other selfaccrediting higher education institutions), or from an overseas university listed in the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition Guide. The bachelor's degree must be completed by 1 January of the year in which the applicant intends to commence the University of Sydney Medical Program.

Insert additional subclause:

(4) Applicants who have undertaken a bachelor degree in an accelerated program are eligible to apply only after completion of the full degree.

 Change the Title for Clause 4 from Deferrals to Deferment in keeping with request from Student Services

 4.  Students enrolled in a master’s degree prior to 2011 may be awarded at either a pass or honours grade. Honours is only available to students who have obtained a minimum weighted average mark of 70 percent at the completion of 48 credit points of coursework. Students must successfully complete an additional 12 credit point research dissertation (ie 60 credit points of study in total) in which they undertake a supervised individual project in an area of interest and report the outcomes in a dissertation. Enrolment in Honours requires the permission of the course coordinator Link

Change to core and elective unit requirements for the Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations as follows:

To be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, students complete six units of study (36 credit points), comprising:

  • One  core unit of study (six credit points) - the foundational unit WORK5002
  • five elective units of study (30 credit points), including a minimum of three elective units options listed under 'Section A'.

To be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, students complete four units of study (24 credit points), comprising:

Elective units of study
Elective units are selected from the options listed under 'Section A' and 'Section B'. Students enrolled in the individual Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations courses choose their elective options as follows:
• Master’s degree: a minimum of four of their eight elective units must be selected from 'Section A' options. The remaining four electives may be selected from either 'Section A' or 'Section B' options.
